What's not to like? Incredibly priced authentic grub served up local style. We grabbed some Russian bread, smoked salmon, soft cheese, salami , and a few balinka beers and spent 20 bucks. Take a seat outside and enjoy comrade.

I bought some chocolates here that were packaged in lovely boxes to celebrate Christmas and the New Year holidays. In fact, I bought several boxes to hand out to people and kept one for myself just because I felt like being indulgent. Three chocolates into devouring my personal box, my husband jumps up and throws one candy across the room. "What is it?" I asked, scared. "Nothing!" he said trying to protect me from the truth. "No, I demand to know!" I tell him firmly. "Fine. There's a worm in it!" he relays. "A WORM?" I freak out. "Yes, a worm!" he fervently claims. So here you have it. The woman working at St. Petersburg Deli told me the chocolates were fresh and packaged especially for the holidays and she blatantly lied. Obviously we threw out our box immediately but the worst part is, I already gave another box to the concierge and security desk at my condo. I'm so appalled and disgusted by this situation and even more so, embarrassed that I gave out contaminated Christmas candy because this deli is too cheap to package fresh chocolates for the holidays. Instead of being righteous, they found an opportunity to liquidate their old and stale stock to unsuspecting customers. In the process not only have they lost this particular customer but now they must feel the wrath of me exposing their indecency on Yelp. So take that St. Petersburg deli! And for those of you reading, take heed from this elite Yelper and stay far away (unless you like larvae and other critters in your food).

We have plenty of experience with Russian delis and restaurants, and this one was by far the best we have ever been to. The service is excellent - everyone is polite and very helpful. And their food - absolutely delicious! We had breakfast there every morning for a week, a mushroom omelette with toast and tea. It was one of the best omelettes we have ever tried, and we are from Los Angeles, with plenty a-gourmet restaurants. You get an omelette and toast for $3.95, $1 for mushrooms, and free cup of coffee and tea. Cannot beat the price or the taste! Plus a selection of delectable Russian pastries for the tea - they are extra, of course, but also very reasonably priced. By the way, they also offer free glass of beer or wine with dinner. We are definitely vising again once we are back in Florida.

Here's the thing- when rating Russian places, you have to grade on a curve. The service here will just not be good. Accept it. The food though, will be awesome and this place does not disappoint. Their sirniki were some of the best I've ever had. in case you don't know, sirniki are fried farmers cheese patties with a bit of flour and sugar. They had 2 kinds here: one with raisins and one without. Both were awesome with some fruit for breakfast. The reason this place doesn't get more stars are the prices. I don't know if maybe Miami just has super expensive Russian food, but they were selling "korovki" (Russian caramels) for $7.95/lb! In LA they would never sell them for more than $4 EVER.

Food Poisoning for 8 people please. We purchased cold cuts from them and every person who ate the cold cuts got sick that evening. Their cheese was also subpar on quality and freshness. Service is rude even when you're being nice. If there was a good Russian store in sunny isles it would flourish extermely well since no one really likes this store, but don't have much choice..

Vachagan~ I've been to St. Petersburg (The Market) several times- been to St. Peterburg, FL once or twice! My visits to St. Petersburg Market in Sunny Isles Beach was usually to pick up "semichkes" for the ex-family. Its a very well stocked and well managed market, deli, wine merchant, beverage and dry goods store. The homemade food is also excellent! Sunny Isles Beach Real Estate and Information is a proud sponsor of St. Petersburg Gourmet Market.

The best food I have had from a deli. The food was out of this world! Fresh, gourmet, unusual and delicious. I could not pronounce the names of the foods they served but the staff was helpful in explaining what they were and attentive to my needs. The price for everything was great and definitely a bargain when compared to how good the food was. I would frequent St. Petersburg Deli for lunch or dinner any day!
